Margaret Knott obtained her law degree from the University of Houston and is licensed to practice in both state and many federal courts in Texas. She currently focuses on personal-injury, nonsubscription, and premises-liability litigation. She also has extensive experience representing insurance carriers in workers’ compensation litigation and administrative hearings. Prior to joining Peavler | Briscoe in 2021, Margaret was elected by her peers as Chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Law Section of the State Bar of Texas for the 2016-2017 term. She has decades of experience in advising clients regarding evaluation and resolution of personal-injury, nonsubscription, and workers’ compensation claims and has obtained the coveted “AV” rating (the highest available in ethics and ability) by Martindale Hubbell.
