Experience

Sara represents our clients primarily in the area of personal injury defense litigation throughout the state of Texas, both in general liability claims and non-subscriber employee injury litigation. Sara graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Russian Language before obtaining her law degree at Baylor Law School. While in law school, Sara clerked for the district attorney’s offices in Bexar and McLennan Counties, the Fourth Court of Appeals of Texas, the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas (Waco Division), and Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid. Prior to joining Peavler Briscoe in 2019, Sara practiced insurance-defense litigation before going on to represent the State of Texas as an assistant district attorney in Harris, Travis, and Tarrant Counties, during which time she tried 23 jury trials. During her time at Peavler Briscoe, she has obtained multiple summary judgments on behalf of our clients. She was recognized as one of Super Lawyers: Rising Stars in 2021-2022, Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in 2024, and Best Lawyers in America for the upcoming 2025 list. Sara is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and in the United States District Courts of the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas. In her free time, Sara enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, hiking in Big Bend, playing with her two daughters, Harper and Hagan, and making frequent trips back to her hometown of Lockhart, Texas to eat barbecue.
